Purpose of enquiry to investigate tragic affair at Lok Ma
Chau on 21.7.30.
Primary function of jury to ascertain the exact circumstances
in which 3 deceased met their deaths.
Further within jury's province to determine
1. whether any precautions could or should have been taken
2.
by Police Authorities to guard against possibility of such
a tragedy,
whether tragedy could have been averted by any action on
the part of the Police officers in or near the Station
at the time,
and to make any recommendations or comments that you deem
fit in the se connections.
